I was with this guy related to work, we were in a car. He was driving, and we were driving towards some forest. We talked about web design and programming, and argued about a bunch of different things. When we got to the forest it was really thick, lush green. There was green everywhere. He pulled into some parking lot type area where there were other cars. He forced me to get out where we argued more. I remember saying something about "chinese people" related to web design and waking wondering what I was ever dreaming about.

After he had called me a "liar" for some reason, I decided to walk home. It didn't take as long as the length of the drive seemed to make it appear.

The first part of the dream is a bit fuzzy, but I remember being at university -- I don't think it was mine -- amongst some dorm rooms. I was in a large dorm room with three beds lined up across a wall. I was reading books on one of the beds that were about PHP, Perl, and other programming stuff. Suddenly I found that I was in the middle of a scene of some sort of movie or television show. I was talking to one of the "actors", explaining that I found it funny his character was interested in the same computer stuff I was. Then, for some reason, he noted he had acted with Samuel L. Jackson in the past. I was interested of course, being a big fan. We started talking about these (non-existent-in-real-life) scenes that he was in, and I was able to describe them pretty well to him.

After a while he showed me some comic book/strip that I might really like. It reminded me of "The Far Side" comic that I had read before, but a long time ago. As I flipped through the book, everything was really dark and red and very foresty. The jokes were about these half animal, half human creatures that made these pathetic jokes. As I kept flipping through I found myself becoming a part of the book itself. I was actually at these foresty places. I was at the edge of one town(?) where there were a few small houses bordering a black-silhouetted forest. More of these strange creatures popped up around me.

Then I woke up.
