I remember being in a bathroom, and I leave it to find that the bathrooms are in the laundry room in my mom's house. I remember as I was walking out of the laundry room passing my mom. *Fuzzy* I'm walking across the back yard, and someone told me that I need to get Shikamaru, and I go to get him *Fuzzy* now I've gone across the street, and Shikamaru (apparently a different one) walks up to me and asks me if I got him yet. I told him we need him over here, didn't he come? Crap! We both take off running towards the yard to get him, but instead of the yard being flat, there's a hill. He takes it with no problem and bolts right over it, but I stumble and have to use my hands to get up the hill better. "Damn, for being such a lazy ass you sure can run!" I yell to him, but he doesn't pay any attention, and soon I'm at his heels again. *Fuzzy* Now I'm walking around the side of the house with my arm around Naruto's shoulder, and we're apparently in a relationship, because we're talking about which one of us will take the other's last name, and finally I give in and agree to take his. When we come around the house, I pretend to be a bit more hurt than I really am, that way I can get inside and stop working and hopefully bring him with me.

An odd dream this one was, but I had a feeling of contentedness when I woke from it, as I normally do the few times I feel close to someone in a dream and they don't die. This dream seemed to be packed with duality, such as the laundry room IRL being a laundry room and a public style bathroom.
Of the two characters I remember best, the first would be the one who took the form of Shikamaru. The first bit of duality here is that there seems to be two of him in the dream, and the one I remember is the least like the lazy manga character. He seems to be authority, and has the ability to manage people and give orders, even though he has a gentle way of doing it most of the time. Regardless of what I had said in the dream, he didn't strike me as the lazy type.
The second, of course, is the one who took form as Naruto. He doesn't just seem to be a dream embodiment of the manga character either. The qualities I saw best in him were a loving acceptance. Rather than him being just a symbol for whatnot though, upon waking I immediately remembered I dream I had years ago, which leads me to believe that he's a recurring dream character. In that dream, he was my best friend, so he always seems to incarnate into someone close to me.
For the record though, I don't see this making any of my major forum DJs.
