I'm sitting beside a white van on the side of a highway, along with my father and some other man I don't recognize. As we're talking, I see a plane fly across the sky into a cloud bank. I look around, and to my right there is a plane with two sets of wings, one small one at its nose and a larger set at the back that are pointing towards the nose of the plane instead of away from it, flying straight up. I watch it until it disappears behind the clouds as well, and comment that I'm going to have to draw a picture of it later (note to DreamSketch that later). I wonder if it is one of those planes that fly in the upper atmosphere, hovering bove the earth instead of going into space like the shuttles do. I look back in front of me, and a space shuttle is taking off. I watch it, but something goes wrong and it plummets back to the ground, causing a large cloud of flames. As I'm watching, two more shuttles crash, but none as spectacular as the first. When the fourth shuttle comes down, they manage to land it without destroying the thing, and the crew all rush out except for one person (they say he's the commodore) who is tying a tourniquet across his wrist. Everyone is talking about getting away from it before the missiles go off. He finally gets up and runs out of the shuttle, and two of the boosters jettison from it, causing one to hit him but doing no serious damage to him.
